Topic: Frameworks and SVN/GIT

For those that work with a framework and put your own code for that site or app under source control(SVN/GIT)... do you put the framework under source control as well?

I currently don't. And I don't know that it really matters one way or the other. It seems like if you did have it under source control when you upgrade the framework it would be more of a headache.

I'd say err on the side of caution and keep everything in source control. That is, if you've made any custom modifications. If you're just using jQuery / Rails / etc. "out of the box" each time, probably not as big of a deal.
