Topic: Suckerfish Dropdown Hides Beneath jQuery Image Slideshow in IE6/IE7

Hey ya'll, I have a suckerfish dropdown here:

http://cubicle.ithemes.com.

Works great in Firefox, but when you hover over the dropdown, it hides beneath the jquery slideshow. So, here's my question: is it an issue with the suckerfish code, or is it an issue with the jQuery image slideshow code? This same slideshow works great here:

http://flexxtheme.ithemes.com/

and the dropdown does not hide underneath the image slideshow. Weird, huh?

Appreciate anyone's help on this stumper...

Re: Suckerfish Dropdown Hides Beneath jQuery Image Slideshow in IE6/IE7

FYI, the dropdown menus aren't appearing at all in the first URL you mentioned (I'm using Firefox 2).

I've always used the "Superfish" and "bgIframe" plug-ins for jQuery for my dropdown menu needs. "Superfish" is basically Suckerfish with a jQuery twist, and "bgIframe" fixes the layering issue that you've described (where the dropdown menu appears behind other elements on the pager).

"bgIFrame" is specifically for fixing the layering issue with regards to IE6 and form widgets, but it might be of benefit in your specific situation.
