Topic: FTP Upload Script

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum for this question....

I am wanting to create an FTP upload page for a few contributors to get their videos to me.

It would be something like this:

www.example.com/upload

Similar to using any company like Kinkos, etc. on their websites. I have googled for a tutorial or something and I can't find anything. Would anyone know How I could fin more info on getting this done?

Thanks

So you're looking to do http uploads, then?  By that, I mean where the site visitor is presented with an input of type file.  Is that what you're looking for?

Re: FTP Upload Script

Do any of these help?

Not sure what sort of technologies you want to use/avoid, though...

Re: FTP Upload Script

FWIW, if people are going to be uploading video files, which, in my experience, can be very large, you might run into server limitations, depending on what your hosting provider allows. If someone is going to be uploading (potentially) large files, I usually just use a third-party service like YouSendIt (check out their "Dropbox" feature).
