Topic: Google indexing audio content of videos - limited

Google has a new item in the labs, Google Audio that indexes the spoken word in YouTube videos.  Currently it is only searching videos uploaded to the YouTube political channels.

Google developed their own speech recognition system (GAudi, for Google Audio Indexing). It's a great step forward. I'm looking forward to enhancements to Gaudi, expansion beyond the political videos and with some additional features (it would be good if gaudi allowed some user interaction to correct grammar).

Hey Deborah,

That's pretty interesting. I wonder how GAudi compares to the other speech recognition systems out there?

Good find.
