Topic: XML using CMS (with XSLT?)

Can anyone tell me whether the CMSs they use/are aware of allow for XML documents to be stored and spit out to viewers via some kind of XSL(T)?

Background: I'm involved with a project that at present uses (html) flat-files, but for which an XML schema is being developed. I would like to see the site handled via a CMS, rather than hand-coding (which is what I do at the moment). This is the present site, if you're interested.

If I'm asking this stupidly, I hope you'll set me right!

I have a local copy installed with XAMPP, so we'll see how it goes. Looks like just the sort of thing I need, though.

If there are other suggestions, though -- it's still good to know what's out there!

I'm having an issue or two installing Symphony sad which I hope I can deal with (I think it has to do with my XAMPP Apache setup). It still looks promising...

If anyone else is interested, here are a couple more XML/XSLT CMS options I have identified, but not yet investigated (any comments/experience/additions welcome!):

- Flux (or bitFlux) CMS (runs a lot of Swiss sites, it seems!)
- Roxen CMS has a personal edition (hard to tell what it includes)

Wee update: after catching a simple httpd.conf tweak, Symphony installed beautifully.

If the words "simplicity", "power", and "elegance" go together in your thinking, Symphony ticks those boxes! Configuring it requires *some* XML/XLST knowledge, but the tutorials at the Symphony support site were able to get me going. I have been very impressed seeing what others have done with it, but to exploit it one would clearly need to have a high level of expertise with XML, etc. (as well as CSS, etc.!).

I have a feeling that Godbit pro's would find something here worth playing with. Or not! Anyway, I remain grateful to Nathan for the tip.

Thanks for the link! Until I saw it yesterday, I did not care about XML/XSLT based Content Management Systems—but now I am very excited about it! smile
