Topic: Linking to a tab within a page from another page

Client wants a services page to have three tabs, not normal navigation, detailing the three services. That part doesn't much worry me. But the catch is there will be three links on the home page, one to each tab. Can you, or how can you get a link in rails to pull up a page (controller) and tab (scriptaculous?) in one swell phoop?

Not quite sure I understand. Could you describe the problem more specifically? A sketch would help.

Fwiw... a link in Rails is just like a link in HTML. You can link to anything, any way you want it, as long as your routes.rb file is set up to handle anything unusual.

Services page. In the content a box with three tabs, say tab 1 is open by default. How would you do tab 2 and 3 within the services page?

Does the containing element for each tab have an id?
Does it work if you link to href="/#tab_2"
