Topic: Flash/XML & in link problems...

Been puzzling over this one for a bit without coming up with any answers, so any help would be awesome...

I've got a tool on one of the shopping carts we've built where the client can go in and enter in specials with links that they want displayed on their homepage. The data gets inserted into a database and then is exported to an XML file which then feeds it to a flash file and displayed.

During the process any &'s separating get variables are converted to & which throws off the shopping cart.

Is there any way to get flash to process & as &?

Re: Flash/XML & in link problems...

Fixed it... well, sorta. Coded a redirect into the header of the cart.

$pos = strpos($_SERVER['QUERY_STRING'], '&');

if ($pos !== false) {
	$queryString = str_replace('&', '&', $_SERVER['QUERY_STRING']);
	header("Location: ".$_SERVER['PHP_SELF']."?".$queryString."");
}
while ($success == 0) { $try++; }
