I know....for some reason it has been really hard to track down a good calendar script.  I have been looking for a couple of weeks....I thought it would be easy...thought there would be lots of choices.

I have seen quite a few but nothing that is really that great.  EasyPHPCalendar ( http://www.easyphpcalendar.com ) is about the best I can find.

Any one....please!

Seems like there is a big hole in the market for something like this.

Does anyone know of a good calendar solution for a church site.

I know Google Calendar can integrate but I am looking for a really easy to use, good looking calendar script.

Any ideas?

Hey Kyle,

I think it is a great idea...I know most people are used to getting their podcast for free...however, I think if the content is good enough...many people would likely pay a fee....especially in a niche market.

Good Luck!

I am looking for any suggestions on a great turn-key shopping cart solution that I can setup for e-commerce.

I found a couple that are "alright" but I am looking for something that offers great admin capability as well as amazing usability for customers.

Also, the biggest thing is that it has to integrate with an existing design.

I found an incredible shopping cart solution from a company named "Elastic Path" but it was about $25,000!  My budget is more around $500!

Thanks for your ideas and suggestions!

I just wanted to let you know that ChurchBeauty.com has just be redesigned and relaunched.

It is a great source of inspiration - it is a gallery of the best church website on the internet.

Please submit any sites you think are worthy of being included!

We are in the process of redevolping/redesigning ChurchBeauty.com

ChurchBeauty is an online gallery of the very best church websites on the internet.  It serves as a starting point for vision and inspiration for many designers and churches.

The goal of the redesign is to make the site more user friendly and much more robust as well as adding a nice clean design.

I have finished all of the design but I was wondering if any Godbit members might be interested in helping me bring the designs to life.

I need the CSS, AJAX and PHP/MySQL work completed and some of it might be a bit complex.

If you are very capable and have the time and energy to contribute to a good cause (better church websites!) let me know and I can send you the details on what the project entails and you can decide how you can best help.

Also, if you don't mind, please send a couple URLs to past projects you have completed.

Just to clarify:  This is a volunteer offering...ChurchBeauty does not make money....there is no compensation involved except being part of "the team".

Please let me know if you have any questions....thanks!

Fireworks all the way!  I have been using it for about 7 years and I could not design a website without it!  It has become my bread and butter.

Try http://www.phireworx.com

Good luck and always feel free to ask me anything!

Robert,

Wow, we are close!  I am just up the 15 freeway from you!

Anyway, I see that you are a rails expert.  That is awesome....I tried to follow one of your tutorials, but I am just not a programmer!  I was lost about half way through!  If you ever have free time or need design help, please let me know!

Thanks for the quick reply and I hope we can work on something together in the future.
