What I love about this site is the clean layout, and the way that the background fills the entire browser. Also, while I’m not a big fan of JavaScript drop-down menus, the menu on this site is surprisingly responsive. There are some XHTML validation errors caused by the JavaScript, but other than that, this site has good clean code. The CSS passes validation, but has a few level 2 warnings that could easily fixed by adding a generic font-family as a fallback.

It’s funny how easy it is to forget to go back and add things like a generic font-family. I’ll have to get that done here soon.

And as far as the validation errors, I decided to give those up in order to be able to serve to older versions of Netscape with that JavaScript menu. Not that anyone uses them any more, but for that 1 person out of 2,000, I gotcha covered.

Thanks for featuring the site, Nathan. It’s an honor to be posted among some really great sites ON a really great site.

Oh, and for the record, Cody Lindley did the design, I did the code.

Cool. Yeah, I wasn’t sure about who did what, so I just listed the site itself. I understand the JS decision, we had to do that with Asbury Seminary a few versions ago, to get our drop-downs to work right for multiple browsers / versions. I just figured I should point it out, since I’m knit-picky about code. :)
